Why is running marathons good for us?
Us humans are built for using our bodies! We have evolved to be able to run away from danger, but also to run towards food. Persistence hunting got us where we are today. In today’s era, most people don’t require to move a lot in order to plainly survive, but all our bodies still crave it.
It makes us healthy and happy. We will live longer and better lives if we spend more time running.
Why is reading books good for us?
While reading books to gather knowledge hasn’t been known to us humans as long as running, but only for a few thousand years, it’s the best and most efficient way to increase our wisdom nevertheless.
Problems which present themselves can be solved if we have read about them before. More opportunities present themselves to us. The quality of our ideas increases. The more we know, the easier life gets for us.
